The recording and documentation of existing buildings is becoming an increasingly important part of the work of architects and craftsmen. Renovating buildings and reusing components is becoming more relevant in the future. In this way, valuable resources can be saved and the life cycle of materials can be extended. This is only possible, as long as it is known which materials are used where and how.
The mato_ digital measuring system supports the entire process, from documentation to the recording of measurements and data. Different modules make it possible to measure distances, humidity and power sources. The system digitalises the measurement process to reduce errors and provides a platform for building-related data. The integrated camera captures on-site conditions to document the condition of components and materials.
