Research & Transfer
Research in the Industrial Design department of the Bergische Universität Wuppertal is guided by the principle of "research through design": Designing possible future products today affords us the opportunity - to take one example - to engage with potential users about how they want to live in the future.
Our main areas of research are:
- future forms of interaction between humans and technology,
- new principles for the design of interactive systems,
- Tangible User Interfaces and Physical Interaction Design,
- Critical Design and other forms of critical examination through creative means.
We implement innovative, visionary solutions at our in-house institute visionlabs, in cooperation with leading industrial companies. For more information: Link
