To have a beautiful and well-maintained lawn with little effort - that is the goal of many garden owners. To fulfil this desire, robotic lawnmowers have been developed, among other things. They not only mow the lawn automatically, but also strengthen the grasses with nutrients from the daily lawn mulch.
The WMOW lawn robot was developed to reliably maintain the lawns of private gardens. The product concept includes transmission masts that help the robot determine its position. Using masts distributed throughout the garden, the robot can clearly define its location, which enables navigation with centimetre precision. This eliminates the need for the time-consuming installation of a boundary wire. In addition, this technology enables flexibility, as the digital mapping of the surroundings allows the working area to be redefined quickly and easily.
In addition, the robot's chassis has been adapted for better off-road capability: With a joint between its front and rear wheels, it adapts to uneven ground and can easily overcome obstacles such as tree roots.
