Music is omnipresent and accompanies us in our lives almost every day. Worldwide it is a form of communication, as it connects across cultures and is an expression of deep emotions. Especially for children, music has a great importance. Through early musical education programs, music is supposed to contribute to finding one’s identity and self-realisation. Unfortunately, not every child has access to early musical education.
ONINO is a product for primary schools that is designed to help children learn the musical basics in a playful manner. With the help of a plug-in system, musical phenomena such as tonality, rhythm and melody can be experienced on a multi-sensory level. Furthermore, the own musical perception can be tested in a competitive game mode based on the game "Battleship". By graphically referencing the classical musical notation, the subject notation is also subliminally integrated into the learning process. The aim is to sustainably arouse children’s interest in music and creating music, so that the wonder of music remains with children for as long as possible.
