In order to reduce distraction from the road while riding a motorcycle, the head-up display projects navigation instructions directly into the visor at the edge of the field of vision. In addition, the visual signals are supported audibly.

The head-up display connects via bluetooth with your smartphone and is controlled by an app. The visor is locked to brackets and can easily be removed by a button at each side.

Through 5 small LEDs you can see the status of charge and the status of the bluetooth connection. The generously sized switch for controlling the volume enables the driver to adjust it easily through gloves. The centerpiece can be removed from the helmet and can be charged separately. Those brackets are ether fixated on the inside or the outside of the helmet.

This project was developed as a student project and not on behalf of any company mentioned.
