A Therapy for Open Wounds

Going through the process of healing a wound is an uncomfortable and in some cases long experience. Vacure has been designed to give the patient freedom of movement and confidence during this time so that the treatment has less negative impact on their daily life.

Thanks to its size and clean and classic shape, it transmits a discreet appearance, allowing the patient to feel comfortable using the device in open spaces. Its strap is adjustable to various lengths to accommodate to the user's posture. Vacure has an individualized track pad, so that it can be separated from the irrigation tube if necessary, allowing the patient the freedom to walk without therapy for preset short periods of time.

In order for the patient to feel safe and in control of their therapy experience, a mobile application was designed in combination with Vacure, which facilitates dressing changes, records the healing process and guides the patient through the therapy.
