During a hospital stay, the emergency bell is the most important way for patients to seek communication independently. The innovative PATCOM communication system builds on this familiar concept, but adds two additional buttons for other requests: ‘Help carer’ and ‘Help service staff’. This differentiated call option helps care staff to prioritise requests efficiently and coordinate their work processes better. This avoids inappropriate emergency calls.

Thanks to a detachable emergency call button, patients can request help anywhere, which increases their safety and independence. Using PATCOM is less frightening for patients, as they can request the help they need in a targeted manner.

Carers also benefit: Thanks to information terminals and mobile devices, requests can be viewed and prioritised flexibly.

PATCOM reduces anxiety, promotes communication and creates an atmosphere of reliability and cooperation - for patients and carers alike.
