Chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma or COPD require precise inhalation therapy. Conventional systems are often inconvenient and difficult to handle. Coflow, a newly developed inhalation system, improves mobility, handling and hygiene. The concept is based on the results of an in-depth market and target group analysis, which revealed that cleaning and sterilization are often problematic. The associated Coclean sterilization device solves this problem. UV LEDs and a mirrored inner surface efficiently kill bacteria and viruses. It also serves as a charging station and transport box.

The inhalation device allows flexible use in two positions - horizontal or angled. The medication container opens using a sliding mechanism, eliminating the need for time-consuming turning movements. This makes handling easier, especially for people with limited fine motor skills. An integrated breath sensor detects the optimum time for inhalation and emits a light signal to support the best possible intake of medication.
