Modular MIDI controller system to build an individual set-up for music production

Modulus is a modern MIDI controller system with a focus on a modular, individually configurable work set-up. The controller consists of a main module and four sub-modules and gives the player the opportunity to produce music in their preferred way.

Instead of a single housing in which all functions are integrated, Modulus offers some of the classic functions as sub-modules in several housings in order to ensure more individual control during production. The player can freely decide whether the session should begin with a beat production or with a piano melody by docking the corresponding module. The main and sub-modules are connected to each other by magnetic connectors.

The main module with the most necessary equipment and a tidy interface is used to transfer the played MIDI notes to the DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). Regardless of whether it is expanding the keyboard from two to four octaves, lining up the drum pads or using the mix module – Modulus allows for countless possible combinations.
