Over the past decades, the kitchen has undergone significant upgrading. It is no longer merely a functional household area, but rather a social space—something reflected in high-quality kitchen systems and open-concept living designs. Cleaning practices, however, have hardly changed. Whether in a student shared apartment or luxury kitchen, kitchen cloths, brushes, and sponges rarely have a permanent place and create ideal conditions for microbial growth through moisture and proximity to food. This results not only in unpleasant odor formation, but also in an underestimated hygiene problem.
The Kobold HM8 concept system replaces conventional cleaning utensils with a compact, motorized handheld device and hygienically conditions accessories directly at the point of use. A modular station brings order, reduces microbial contamination, and counteracts odor formation in the sink area. Thus, Kobold HM8 combines hygienic functionality with the design aspirations of modern kitchens.
