Some medium-sized auto repair shops are cramped, questionable in terms of cleanliness, and above all, lacking in light. Mechanics feel their way frustratedly toward hidden components or squint intently into narrow gaps in the underbody until their energy wanes and the mood sours. Older mechatronics engineers in particular lose their patience – minor injuries are more readily accepted than laboriously feeling their way around poorly lit areas.

CarLa is designed to be a fast, compact, and modular work light set that will become a reliable companion in everyday workshop life – with the aim of making this skilled trade more attractive and meeting today's demands for work ethic and standards. The lighting set includes two hand lamps, each containing both an integrated penlight and an amulet lamp, which can be removed at any time in a modular fashion. CarLa can be used and dimensioned differently depending on the application, so that it can be used for both short-term and long-term work.
