This thesis deals with the urgent need to integrate sustainable packaging solutions into product development.
In cooperation with the company Knipex-Werk C. Gustav Putsch KG from Wuppertal, a leading manufacturer of tools, a practice-oriented approach is being developed that takes into account both environmental and economic aspects. The aim of the thesis is to formulate concrete recommendations for action that will help the company optimize its packaging strategies while reducing its ecological footprint, so that the company can achieve its sustainability goals.
