Neurofeedback EEG measurement against the widespread disease depression

Curo is a neurofeedback system that can measure brain signals using 18 sensors. This measurement is called an electroencephalogram – short EEG. Recent studies have shown that the use of EEG measurements does not only help in diseases such as ADHD or epilepsy, but also in depression. Curo-neurofeedback influences the ability to relax, the increase in stress tolerance, high attention and concentration, control through various relaxation techniques, an increase in receptiveness, improved self-perception and self-regulation and the improvement of specific, motor movement sequences. All these abilities have a positive effect on depression patients.

Curo was developed for independent use at home and is aimed primarily at young people aged 18 to 21. This enables the patients to train their skills immediately and easily from home. During a depressive episode, the patient can fall back on what they have learned.
