Electric Vehicle Charging Station in Car Parks
With the popularity of electric vehicles, the demand for charging stations is also increasing. However, users often have to search a long time for charging stations. The fear of not being able to find a free charging option when the battery is almost empty is a major problem in the everyday life of users.
In particular, users who live in apartment buildings generally do not have private garages where they can charge their vehicles. There is usually no suitable infrastructure in the car park or underground car park of an apartment building, which is why they can only use public electricity filling stations. In car parks, however, the vehicle may only be parked for two to three hours and must then be re-parked to free the charging station for the next user.
With this bachelor's thesis an integrated product for charging electric vehicles in future parking garages or underground car parks was developed.
