What is the Interface Lab?

The Interface Lab develops future modes of interaction between humans and technology. Guided by the principle of "research through design", questions are approached here through a cycle of design and reflection. The aim of the Interface Lab is to explore and shape the future of human-technology interaction on a constructive and critical level. In the projects carried out here, the central questions posed for our society in the age of digitization are examined through the methods of design.
The result is novel products that offer a foretaste of the future today - and are intended to stimulate discussion about how we want to live in the future.
On the following pages you can see some of the prototypes. The results of each semester are also presented to the public at the Showcase each March and September.
