the following specifics apply to the UWID online booking system.

The booking system was introduced to allow students to use the computer labs under the current hygiene regulations of the University of Wuppertal. See also: https://www.uni-wuppertal.de/en/university/coronavirus

What personal data is processed in this booking system and for what purpose?

To use the computer rooms, a one-time registration in the booking system is currently required. After registration and successful activation by Mr. Wüllner, individual workstations can be booked online independently and can also be cancelled if not required. The use of the computer rooms remains optional.

For registration we need the following master data from you:
Salutation, first name, last name, matriculation number (if student) and (university) e-mail address.

How long will my data be stored and what options do I have to have it deleted?

After successfully logging in, you can request the deletion of your account (master data, booking data) yourself under "My data". Your account and possibly existing booking data will then be deleted by script within 24 hours. You can also request deletion by sending an e-mail to wuellner@uni-wuppertal.de if you no longer have access to your account. In this case, your account will be deleted by Mr. Wüllner after one week at the latest and after four weeks in case of vacation absence.

How long will my booking data be stored?

Your booking data is currently stored for four weeks to ensure traceability of contacts and times of stay within the computer rooms. Upon request, this data can be passed on to the responsible health authorities, if necessary. (See hygiene requirements of the BUW)

Right of objection

You have the possibility at any time on request - by telephone or by mail - to have your data stored with us in the booking system (master data, booking data) deleted.

Right to information

In addition, you have the right at any time to obtain information about the data recorded by you in the booking system, with a processing time of four weeks.
