Contact persons for gender equality issues
The University of Wuppertal has one central Equal Opportunities Officer and de-central Equal Opportunities Officers in all faculties. They are the contact persons for equal opportunities issues and equal opportunities officers for appointment matters.
Tasks of the decentralized Equal Opportunities Officer
As the contact person for gender equality issues, for example, she is the first point of contact and offers referral advice for employees and students on compatibility, sexual harassment, promotion to higher grades, promotion of young female academics, etc.
