To protect biodiversity, we need to know which species are where and how their populations are evolving.
LYNX is a holistic monitoring system optimized for the needs of professional conservation. By simply swapping out functional modules, LYNX can be used as a wildlife camera or acoustic recorder. Centralized device and data management greatly simplifies the work of organizations such as national parks, which have a large number of devices in use. An intelligent security system protects the device and data from unauthorized access. Easy handling of the battery storage units and clear visual status communication prevent operating errors, which used to be one of the most common reasons for data loss. The integrated software serves as a platform that promotes the exchange of data and knowledge within the conservation community.
