MAKEME Smartglasses

Due to the current pandemic situation, we decided to design functional glasses for the education sector. This should make it possible to bring teaching materials closer to the children and to loosen up everyday teaching.

In order to keep the costs of the glasses as low as possible, the computing power is outsourced to a central computer. The glasses themselves only contain the technology to enable the streaming of the projections.

The glasses must also fit on as many heads as possible and must not put people wearing glasses at a disadvantage. To ensure this, the glasses can be seamless adjusted on the strap and only touches the forehead, not the nose. This makes it possible to wear glasses under the functional glasses.
Course content could be provided via a cloud and projected directly into the middle of the classroom / home office. For example, dangerous chemical experiments can be shown without risk.

In view of the context of use, the design is based on a simple, durable and ergonomic shapes.
