Contact 1842850@uni-wuppertal.deThe mounting of an action camera on a helmet or a chest mount can increase the risk of injuries dramatically in case of falling. But especially in high risk sports the use of an action camera is very popular. This makes those mounting positions dangerous. The integration in sport glasses would be very advantageous and is the goal of the VISION smart glasses.
The design is fitted to GoPro’s product portfolio. The intention is a clean but also a little rugged and technical look.
The frame and the temples look like one shape which is highlighted by the main chamfer. Some diagonal contours make the glasses look more dynamic and sportive.
The camera and the button are mainly adapted to products of GoPro. The same applies to the color of the VISION. The full framed body looks solid and has an interesting material change. You can use the glasses by voice control or one single button. The battery can be charged by connecting it with the USB-C port at the inside of the right temple. The glass is easily changeable to allow perfect sight for all weather conditions.
