More connectedness through digital culture

How can we feel connected to our company and team while working from home?

When working physically together in a shared space, corporate culture is most noticeable in the behavior of the members of the organization. This is made much more difficult when team members work together in a digital space. The feeling of belonging to the company and the team can easily be lost in digital collaboration. Many employees feel lonelier and more unnoticed when they are physically separated, which can lead to increasing insecurity and dissatisfaction.

In order to counteract this, this paper presents three impulses for more solidarity in physically separated working teams. A selection of methods can be used to increase transparency, promote exchange and convey appreciation in order to communicate culture in the digital space and create a sense of connection between the organization and its members.
