What do I need to study Industrial Design at Wuppertal?
Excellent drawing skills aren't essential, but you should have a talent for observing everyday life and your environment with eyes wide open, and be able to present your ideas and plans articulately.
The application (or determination of artistic and creative suitability) consists of two parts:
- a portfolio (along with other application documents, such as certificates). In order to understand fully how to assemble a good portfolio, you must come to the portfolio counseling sessions! These are informal, open appointments every month from De-cember to April, where you can talk to professors and students, and get feedback. This greatly increases your chances of being accepted.
- an oral selection interview.
